I’m not really sure what people imagine you eat when you tell them you are only eating a plant based diet, but it typically looks something like what we had tonight.
Tonight, we had toasted Ezekiel bread with avocado, lettuce, and tomato. In addition, we had a small side salad with halo oranges and some lemon slices. This was really, really good.
Since we started a Plant Based Only diet approach at the beginning of September we have had many wonderful dishes. I have eaten foods I have never tried before in my life and have found many new favorites.
Another nice bonus is I never crave any of the older foods I used to eat like chicken wings, greasy cheeseburgers, etc. If you are just starting out with this type of approach I encourage you to stick with it. It get’s better and better each day and eventually you will find that those “old” foods actually disgust you somewhat.
